Africa’s Fresh Produce Industry meets in Nairobi!!

The Africa Fresh Produce Expo (AFPEX) is a pan-African exhibition and conference focused on enhancing the growth of the fresh produce industry in Kenya, Eastern Africa and Africaat large.

The Expo showcases Africa’s abundant fresh produce to local, regional and global markets, as well as providing the platform for providers of new technologies and services to trade and network with farmers, traders and distributors from Africa and beyond.

At AFPEX, you will find the entire range of products, services and technologies from every part of the fresh produce supply chain – including logistics; processing and packaging technologies, financial services; agro-chemicals, seeds, fruit and vegetable propagation and farming solutions and many more . . . 

The  Expo is the only one in the region to cover the entire scope of fresh produce categories and that also targets solutions for the entire value chain – from farm to table.

The Expo is structured with the following main objectives:

  • Showcase Africa’s fresh produce to buyers, traders and distributors from current and potential new markets locally, regionally and globally and thereby contribute to further growth of the industry;
  • Provide a pan-African platform to enable African fresh produce farmers, traders and distributors to meet, network and trade with suppliers of machinery, logistics, new technologies and services that are vital for the success and growth of the fresh produce industry in Africa;
  • Provide a platform for exchange of ideas, meeting and networking with industry peers, buyers, manufacturers, retailers and traders; government ministries and agencies; NGOs and development organisations; academic and research institutes and the general public from Africa and the World.

Over 100 sponsors and exhibitors from over 30 countries are expected to attend the next edition in Nairobi, Kenya with trade visitors from over 60 countries in Africa and globally.
